Our Menu
We are very proud of our wonderful menu here at Cuddly Bear. Our talented and knowledgeable chefs design new menus each term that reflect the cultural backgrounds of all our children. Our chefs freshly prepare all the meals daily and always ensure that they are nutritionally balanced and have the correct salt and sugar content. Your child will be offered a wide variety of fruit and vegetables throughout the day. We continually review our Menus and welcome parents suggestions and children’s feedback
Dietary Requirements and preferences
Here at Cuddly Bear we understand that families have a wide variety of dietary requirements and preferences (including cultural) and we are always happy to accommodate those. We offer a full and varied vegetarian and pescatarian menu among others.
Allergies and Intolerances
Nothing is more important to us than your child’s safety and welfare. This is why at Cuddly Bear Nurseries our highly trained chefs take the greatest care to cater to your child’s allergies and/or intolerances. We ensure that all staff involved in the preparation and serving of food are well informed about your child’s requirements. We visually document any dietary preferences, intolerances and allergies in all our food preparation and serving areas to ensure your child’s needs are met.
What our Chef and children say
Daniella (Chef):
“I enjoy working at Cuddly Bear because I love cooking for the children. It makes me so happy to see the children enjoying my food and seeing all the empty bowls coming back to the kitchen. It gives me so much joy to make fruit cakes for the children’s birthdays as I love seeing their happy faces. I love to develop my skills by researching fruit cake ideas and then seeing how much the children enjoy them”
Eka (Chef):
I love cooking for the children and watching them enjoy the food. I have developed my career at Cuddly Bear and learnt a lot about making healthy and tasty food for the children that they love. The favourite part of my role is when I make meals inspired by events happening through the year such as Christmas, making the food fun and colourful which the children always find memorable.
